Koreans have taken a keen interest to the Norwegian popartist Bellman. He recently released the widely acclaimed debut record “Mainly Mute” and second album “The Curse” in the country and according to Arne-Johan Rauan reception has been simply overwhelming.

After his participation at the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, Minister of the Environment and International Development, Erik Solheim, paid a visit to the UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea.

From 12 to 15 December Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg is visiting the South Pole to mark the centenary of Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen and his team reaching the Pole in 1911, and to underline the importance of the Antarctic continent in relation to global climate change.

During the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan, South Korea, more than 150 countries and several organisations came to an agreement on a new framework for co-operation for international development. For the first time, China, India and Brazil joined in.
