Myeongdong Theatre is in May hosting the theatre play Hedda Gabler, for the first time in South Korea. It was written by famous Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen.

Koreans have taken a keen interest to the Norwegian popartist Bellman. He recently released the widely acclaimed debut record “Mainly Mute” and second album “The Curse” in the country and according to Arne-Johan Rauan reception has been simply overwhelming.

The embassy has been hosting a contest at Samgakji-station from 22 February that was concluded with an award ceremony at the ambassador’s residence 12 April.

A continuous exhibition showing Norwegian nature, history and culture has been featured at the Samgakji subway station since April 2011. The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Seoul is hosting a fun and entertaining competition at the exhibition from 22 February to 21 March.
