HerStay will come directly from New York to Korea to perform with their production Movers and shakers - Tangible channeling the existence of nature. The performance is based on the play Rosmersholm by Ibsen, one of his more provoking dramas with several possible interpretations. HerStay presents the play in a way rarely seen, non-narrative and without dialogue. With the ability to detach themselves from the screenplay, they are also able to show the audience entirely new aspects of Ibsen. The performance has received great reviews from all over the world, and the ensemble itself have been said to present a new direction within performance language.

HerStay was founded in 1999 by dancer Monica Emilie Herstad, the choreographer and producer of the groups numerable highly acclaimed acts. Herstad also accepted the International Ibsen Award Stipend in 2008 on behalf of her project Movers and Shakers.

With her to Korea, Herstad will bring Hicham Bouddén, Andrea Csaszni Rygh, Rune Andreassen, Kaja Glenne Lund, Nina Biong, Tine Erica Aspaas, Eline Hansen, Daniel Andersson and Kristin Zachariassen.

The group will perform at Pohang Bada International Theater Festival, one of the leading theater festivals in Korea. This is the 10th year of the festival, which is taking place in Pohang city in Gyeongsanfbuk-do, August 3.-7.
