Chairs and furniture from 14 different Norwegian companies will be exhibitied during Seoul Design Fair 2010
The Seoul Design Fair 2010 is being held in Jamsil Sports Complex from the 17th of September to the 7th of October, and Norway is represented with one of the biggest exhibition spaces in the overseas industry exhibition.
The exhibition "Please Take A Seat" shows off some of the most innovative, important and interesting of Norwegian furniture design. From chairs that have been produced in over 50 years, to prototypes from young designers, this exhibition puts the evolution of Norwegian design in a historical perspective.
"Drops" by Camilla Hounsell HalvorsenCurated by professor Dave Vikøren from the Bergen National Academy of Arts, this exhibition has previously gotten a great reception in both Bergen and Oslo where it was previously exhibited. With some changes and new additions especially for Seoul, there is almost 50 unique chairs to see. Visitors are also allowed to sit in many of the chairs, so come see the exhibition and – Please Take a Seat!
