The Royal Norwegian Embassy is co-hosting the second consecutive Skarvenrace Korea.

Following the success of last year's Skarvenrace, this year's event will take place in the Alpensia Crosscountry stadium. The competition features both amateur and professional classes, and more details on race registration can be found at the race's official webpage (see right margin).

Skarvenrace is the Korean version of "Skarverennet", a 40 km long race  which has been held every year in Norway since 1974. With well over 10 000 participants, Skarverennet is one of the largest crosscountry competitions in the world.

Skarvenrace Korea will be open to professional and amateurs as well as children over the age of 7. The participants can choose between 2km, 5km and 15km races, with medals and prizes given to the best in every class.

Last year's event was a great start of this annual cooperation between Korea and Norway, and we hope that as many as possible show up to make this year's event even better!

The application form is available for download on the right margin, for further information about the race and other practical matters, please see the Skarvernrace homepage.
