The cross country skiing competition Skarven Race Korea will be held Saturday January 29th 2011, at Alpensia Cross Country Stadium in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do. This is the third time the Norwegian Embassy organizes the Skarven Race. Read more

February 18th-20th 2011, YongPyong International Ski Festival will be held for the 29th time. All foreigners and their families are welcome to participate in this weekend of fun skiing. There will be competitions in slalom and snowboarding, children's and adult classes, as well as in cross country skiing. Read more

After the official program of the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration was over, a group of Norwegian war veterans and their relatives paid a visit to Dongduchon where the Norwegian Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (NORMASH) was located until almost 60 years ago. Read more
